About This Course

Introduction 

This course helps individuals develop their skills and knowledge to become coaches. Learners can supervise practice sessions and assist competition assistants. 

  • Units of Competency
     The course consists of 10 units:

    • Core Units (6 mandatory)

      • Instruct strength and conditioning techniques

      • Facilitate inclusion for people with a disability.

      • Respond to emergencies

      • Maintain equipment for activities.

      • Conduct sport, fitness, or recreation events.

  • Elective Units (4 options available)

    Choose from sport-specific or general coaching units based on your interest.

Course Outcome 

Community Coach. 


Course Duration

Typically 12 months to complete.. Fast-tracking or extensions may be available based on individual needs.

Course Delivery 

We are as flexible as you are. To suit your lifestyle, you can choose from the following study modes. 


1. Face-to-Face—The ASPEX College face-to-face learning mode allows you to visit us for the entire course duration. 

2. Distance—ASPEX College's distance learning mode provides you with the course assessment details. It fulfils all the requirements and support needed for distant learning so that you can pursue your studies wherever possible. 

3. Blended – ASPEX College's blended mode offers you the option to use both on-campus and distance learning methods. In this mode, you will be required to complete some face-to-face classes and written course assessments
