Introduction  

  

This course offers you ins and outs of exercise instruction. You shall help new members learn how to use equipment. Each day comes with new opportunities to test your skills.   

Unit

To complete this qualification, students must achieve 15 units of competency, including:

• SISFFIT034: Plan and deliver exercise programs
  
  

• SISFFIT035: Plan group exercise sessions
  
  

• SISFFIT036: Instruct group exercise sessions
  
  

• SISXIND009: Work effectively in sport, fitness, and recreation environments
  
  

• SISXCAI006: Facilitate groups
  
  

• Elective Units (4): Electives may vary by campus but could include:

 Course Duration

Typical completion time: 6-12 months, depending on study mode. Fast-track or extension options may be available.

  

Course Delivery  

 We are as flexible as you are. To suit your lifestyle, you can choose from the following study modes.  

  

• Face to Face—The ASPEX College face-to-face learning mode allows you to visit us for the entire course duration.  

•  Distance learning—ASPEX College's distance learning mode provides you with the course assessment details and fulfills all the requirements and support needed for distant learning so that you can pursue your studies wherever you are.  

•  Blended – ASPEX College's blended mode allows you to use both on-campus and distance learning methods. In this mode, you will be required to complete some face-to-face classes and written course assessments.

  Recognition of Prior Learning lets a person get recognition for the knowledge and skills they have. This includes skills from previous studies, work experience, and life experience, plus working in the same industry for a few years.
